About
Vikas Raj Yadav is a Staff Product Designer and design technologist in Bengaluru, building native-first health products at Loop Health (YC20). His work sits at the intersection of product design, design engineering, and business — shipping iOS experiences, motion-led interactions, and scalable design-engineering workflows.
Previously he led product and UX design at ETMoney, HDFC Bank, and Paytm across fintech, banking, and consumer apps — owning flows that reached millions of users, from onboarding and payments to investing and everyday money management. Those years shaped a bias for clarity under constraint: shipping experiences that stay simple even as the product, the compliance surface, and the user base grow.
His work sits where design meets engineering. He builds production-ready interactions in SwiftUI, prototypes motion systems in Rive, and treats animation as a first-class part of the interface rather than a decorative afterthought. That means designing the transitions, the micro-states, and the timing curves with the same rigor most teams reserve for static screens — so the finished product feels considered in the moments between taps, not just on the surface.
As a Rive and Play ambassador in India, he shares that craft through hands-on workshops, teardowns, and open prototypes — helping designers and engineers close the gap between a Figma file and a shipped, interactive build. He has run sessions at IIT Delhi and with the Design Originals Club, and hosts community meetups for motion designers and developers across Bengaluru.
Designing since 2016, he cares most about the intersection of product thinking, interaction craft, and business impact — the rare space where a well-timed animation, a clear information hierarchy, and a measurable outcome all point in the same direction.
Open to staff product design roles, design engineering opportunities, workshops, and collaborations in Bengaluru and remote.
